Yes,it exhibits outstanding resistance to seawater,especially under crevice conditions that cause failure in 316 stainless steel.
Due to its relatively low chromium content,it is not recommended for use in extremely oxidizing environments such as high-temperature concentrated nitric acid compared to specialized nitric acid-resistant alloys.
