Recently, Hebei Hongrun has achieved the mass production of nuclear-grade large-diameter stainless steel extruded steel pipes with a diameter of 813, 914, 1016mm, a wall thickness of 30-50mm, and a length of 6-8m. A major breakthrough was made.
This large-scale, thick-walled seamless stainless steel pipe fills the gap in the domestic market, breaking the situation of high quality requirements, difficult process control, and long-term dependence on imports for high-end varieties.
This technological breakthrough marks that Hebei Hongrun has entered a new chapter in the production of high-end of large diameter stainless steel pipes in domestic nuclear power, petrochemical, coal chemical and other fields, pipelines used for high-temperature, high-pressure, high-corrosion hydrocracking, etc.
Since 2020, the company’s high-end products, which are exclusive or substitutes for imported varieties, have increased significantly in its product range, reaching more than 60%.
At the same time, the proportion of direct-supply households exceeds nearly 50%, and the competitiveness and efficiency of Hongrun have significantly improved.
