Tsingshan Industrial India conducted a comprehensive test on a cold rolling production line with a length of 792 meters.

India Chromeni Industrial Park is located in Munfra County, Kazi County, Gujarat. The park is adjacent to Mundra Port. The park will integrate a stainless steel industrial park with cold rolling, hot rolling and smelting projects and other related auxiliary projects.

After the completion of the park construction, it will become the largest stainless steel production base in India, and will also become a world-class stainless steel production base.

The project is divided into three phases:

  • In Phase 1, Qingshan invested US$150 million to build a 600,000-ton stainless steel cold-rolling unit;
  • Phase 2, construction of a 3 million-ton stainless steel hot rolling and smelting plant;
  • In the final phase, a 1.4 million tons stainless steel cold rolling machine will be built.

The total investment of the project is 1.7 billion US dollars, which takes 5-6 years.

India Chromeni Steels Pvt. Ltd. is a multinational joint venture established by Qingshan Industrial, together with India Sunrise Group, Suncity Group, JP ISCON Group and VD Group.

The goal is to become the world’s largest stainless steel hot and cold coilling coil manufacturing plant in 2022, achieving an annual output of 4 million tons of the most comprehensive stainless steel productivity.
