COVID19 leads a tough situation for both human health and industry produce

The world’s fifth largest stainless steel manufacturer, South Korea’ POSCO announced on March 24 that it will close the wire processing center from Thursday, March 26, until April 3, which is near the northern Italian city of Verona.

Prior to this, POSCO had closed two wire processing centers in Delhi and Pune, India. The two wire processing centers in Malaysia and Thailand were also announced to close last week until March 31.

Italian stainless steel pipe manufacturer Valbruna has decided to suspend production activities, but other commercial activities such as shipping, certification and invoicing are still running normally.

Cogne Acciai Speciali said it had decided to suspend production from March 16 and ThyssenKrupp’s Italian stainless steel plant Acciai Speciali Terni (AST) had also suspended production from March 16.
