On December 24, 2019, the Eurasian Economic Union issued an announcement and decided to launch an anti-dumping investigation on stainless steel welded pipe products originating in China. The products involved in the Eurasian Economic Union tax code are 7306402009, 7306408001, 7306408008, 7306611009, and 7306691009.

What is the Eurasian Economic Union

The Eurasian Economic Union (Economic Organization) was established in 2015, and its member countries include Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia. All five countries are important partners for the construction of the “Belt and Road” initiative.

The treaty entered into force on January 1, 2015. On January 2, 2015, Armenia will join the Eurasian Economic Union.

On August 12, 2015, Kyrgyzstan joined the Eurasian Economic Union.
