What’s The Use of Seamless Stainless Steel Pipes?
Seamless stainless steel pipe is corrosion resistant steel, it will not corrosion by acid or other Chemical medium, so it also called Acid-proof stainless steel pipe. The corrosion resistance of stainless steel seamless tube depends on the alloy element content in the steel.
Seamless Stainless steel pipe is used much widely. Generally, seamless steel pipe mainly used for conveying fluid pipe, such as oil, natural gas, coal gas, water and some solid materials.
According to different purposes, seamless steel pipe divided into three applications:
- a, according to the chemical composition and mechanical properties to supply;
- b, according to the mechanical properties to supply;
- c, according to pressure test to supply. If a and b types pipes are used to withstand the pressure of the liquid, they must be carry out hydrostatic test.
