Taiwan’s stainless steel manufacturers will announce new prices for September
It is reported that Taiwan’s stainless steel manufacturers will announce new prices for September this week. The prices are expected to increase further, due to the rising cost of material and equipment.
LME nickel price has tried to reach at US$11,800/ton yesterday, but fail to do so. However, the price is already hit a new high since December 3th of the last year. The market estimates that the price should go up about NT$4000-5000/ton.
According to the downstream manufacturers, the increase price gap is possible to exceed NT$5,500/ton, while the nickel price continues to grow sharply.
