In December 2019, China’s Imports Of Stainless Steel From Indonesia Increased By 668.9% Month-on-month

According to statistics: China’s total stainless steel imports from Indonesia in December 2019 were 37,500 tons, an increase of 668.9% month-on-month, and a decrease of 18.96% year-on-year. In December, the volume of imported stainless steel in Indonesia increased sharply. Both the imports of cold and hot rolling increased.

Among them, December imported 142.2 thousand tons of hot-rolled products, an increase of 505% from the previous month’s 20.35 million tons; cold-rolled imports were 23,300 tons, an increase of 1047.8% from the previous month’s 20.03 million tons.

In December 2019, China’s total imports of stainless steel were 95,600 tons, an increase of 45,100 tons from the previous month, an increase of 89.31%, and a year-on-year decrease of 42,100 tons, a decrease of 30.57%;

In December 2019, China’s stainless steel exports totaled 321,700 tons, a decrease of 7,200 tons from the previous month, a decrease of 2.19%, and an increase of 6,500 tons, an increase of 2.06%.
