2017 global stainless steel production capacity compared to 2016 has increased
According to the International Stainless Steel Forum (ISSF) released the latest statistics show that the first quarter of this year, global stainless steel production reached 11.76 million tons, an increase of 14.5%, compared with 10.27 million tons last year, up 3.5%.
Global stainless steel production is expected to reach 48.5 million tons in 2017, up 6% over the same period last year. At the same time, China’s stainless steel production is expected to grow 8% to 2017 to 27 million tons, accounting for about 55% of global output.
