Forged fittings also named high pressure pipe fittings, they are forged steel pipe fittings, including threaded fittings (NPT fittings) and socket-welding pipe fittings (SW fittings), which are commonly for high pressure piping connections. Similar to butt-welding fittings, forged fittings has various types, such as elbow, tee, coupling, plug, threaded, union, swage nipple, outlet branch fittings etc.

In the norm ASME B16.11, the fittings are up to NPS 4” only because they are threaded and socket-weld connected. For large diameter, we can accept customized manufacturing as per drawings.

Connected End of Forged Fittings:

Threaded and socket-weld is the common types for the forged fittings connection.

Threaded end has male and female types for connected – Male is for such street elbow, plug, bushing, nipple etc. Female is for elbow, tee, coupling etc.

We can offer both NPT and BSP threaded – NPT is default screw if there is no specific.

Socket-weld is one pipe end to insert the fittings for welding, SW end is for all the fittings except threaded.

Our Capacity

Our capacity is about 100 tons/month for types of threaded fittings and socket-weld fittings. We produce and supply the forged fittings class 3000 /6000 /9000, stainless steel and duplex steel flange are our strength. For small quantity of SS and DSS, we have ex-stock for immediate shipment.

Rate: 3000LBS, 6000LBS, 9000LBS ( SCH40S, 80S, XXS etc. for pipe nipple )

Dimension: 1/2” to 4” (DN15 ~DN100)

Quality Control

Our forged fittings will be inspected before shipment, including NDT ( PT, MT or UT test), dimension examination, PMI test. The chemical analysis and mechanical properties test is per heat number, corrosion test and other inspections are upon client’s requirement.

Packing

The fittings are packed in carton firstly, then in plywood box /pallets for sea and air shipment. If you have any specific, please tell us when you order.

Fittings type + End type ( NPT/BSP or SW) + Class + Size + Material + Standard + Order Quantity

For example, you want to buy 100 pcs 90 Elebow 3000# SW 1” for your system in stainless steel 316, the piping design is to ASME, so the description would be:

90 Elbow, 1” 3000#, A182 F316, ASME B16.11, 100PCS
