The volume of Chinese stainless steel products exported to the United States has been increasing month by month since April. In August, it has achieved five consecutive increases, and most of the months are better than the same period last year, but the volume of stainless steel material exports to the United States has shown a downward trend.

China Customs data shows that in August 2020, the amount of stainless steel products exported from mainland China to the United States was about 18,300 tons, an increase of 3% from the previous month and an increase of 34.5% year-on-year; from January to August, the cumulative volume was about 92,000 tons, an increase of 9.7 %.

In August 2020, the amount of stainless steel exported from mainland China to the United States was about 2900 tons (about 1.1% of total domestic exports), an increase of 2.9% month-on-month and a year-on-year decrease of 19.7%; from January to August, the cumulative volume was about 2.5 10,000 tons (approximately 1.2% of total domestic exports), a year-on-year decrease of 40.9%.

The data shows that the amount of stainless steel products exported from mainland China to the United States is mostly concentrated in the amount of stainless steel tables, kitchens and other household stainless steel appliances. In August, the amount was about 15,100 tons, an increase of 2.1% from the previous month and an increase of 40% from the same period last year; followed by stainless steel The amount of sinks and washbasins was about 2300 tons, an increase of 2.3% month-on-month and 11.7% year-on-year; the amount of other woven fabrics made of stainless steel was about 840 tons, an increase of 24% month-on-month and an increase of 18.6% year-on-year; stainless steel machines The amount of endless belts used is very small, only 0.85 tons, a decrease of 62.7% from the previous month and an increase of 2329% year-on-year.

From January to August 2020, the cumulative volume of domestic stainless steel dining tables, kitchens and other household stainless steel appliances was about 73,000 tons, an increase of 11.1% year-on-year; followed by the cumulative volume of stainless steel sinks and washbasins, which amounted to about 13,000 tons , An increase of 0.6% year-on-year; the cumulative volume of other stainless steel woven fabrics was about 5,600 tons, an increase of 15% year-on-year; the cumulative volume of endless belts for stainless steel machines was only 15.2 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 32.4%.
