The minimum phase content of the duplex pipe and fittings also needs to reach 30%. It has the performance characteristics of both ferritic stainless steel pipe and austenitic stainless steel pipe.
The so-called duplex stainless steel is that the ferrite phase and the austenite phase each account for about half of the solid solution mechanism.

Compared with austenitic stainless steel pipe and duplex stainless steel pipe fittings have more advantages:
Duplex pipe has sufficient plasticity required for molding. The wall thickness of the storage tank or pressure vessel made of duplex stainless steel is 30% to 50% lower than the cost of using austenitic stainless steel less. Its yield strength is more than double that of austenitic stainless steel pipe factory.
Especially in the environment containing chloride ion, duplex pipe has excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking. Even duplex pipes with the lowest alloy content have higher stress corrosion resistance than austenitic stainless steel tubes. Stress corrosion is a prominent problem that is difficult to solve in austenitic stainless steel pipes.
Compared with austenitic stainless steel pipes with similar alloy content, it has good corrosion resistance. In view of the high strength and brilliant corrosion resistance of duplex pipes, the wear resistance, corrosion resistance and corrosion fatigue performance are superior to austenitic stainless steel pipes.

Super duplex stainless steel pipe has extremely high corrosion resistance, the corrosion resistance of the most common 2205 duplex stainless steel pipe is better than ordinary 316L austenitic stainless steel pipe. It can even replace corrosion-resistant alloys in highly corrosive media such as acetic acid and formic acid.
