Mysteel: Total Stainless Steel Production Schedule In January 2020 Is Expected To Decrease By 12.19% From The Previous Month

According to statistics, the total output of crude steel (one of materials of stainless steel buttweld fittings) from 33 steel mills (including Indonesia’s Tsingshan) in December was 2.5376 million tons, a decrease of 3.76% from November:
- The output of 200 series stainless steel was 799,600 tons, a decrease of 0.67% from the previous month;
- The output of 300 series stainless steel was 1.237 million tons, a decrease of 7.61% from the previous month;
- The output of 400 series stainless steel was 501,000 tons, an increase of 1.64% from the previous month.
The total output scheduled for January 2020 is estimated to be 2.283 million tons, which is expected to decrease by 12.19% month-on-month, of which 200,700,700 tons, 300,106,460 tons, and 400,400 tons.
In December 2019, the total crude steel output of 32 domestic steel mills in China was 2.4126 million tons, a decrease of 2.47% from November:
- 200 series stainless steel output was 799,600 tons, an increase of 0.67% from the previous month;
- The output of 300 series stainless steel was 1.112 million tons, a decrease of 5.43% from the previous month;
- The output of 400 series stainless steel was 501,000 tons, an increase of 1.64% from the previous month.
The total output scheduled for January 2020 is estimated at 2.103 million tons, which is expected to decrease by 12.82% month-on-month, of which 200,900,700 tons, 300,900,600 tons and 400,500 tons.
