On April 8, 2020, the European Commission issued an announcement to make an affirmative preliminary ruling on Certain Hot Rolled Stainless Steel Sheets and Coils (materials for stainless steel pipes) originating in China, Taiwan and Indonesia, and decided to publish this announcement in the official gazette the next day.
A temporary anti-dumping duty of 6 months is levied on the enterprise involved.

The investigation period of dumping and damage in this case is from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019. The damage analysis period is from January 1, 2016 to the end of the dumping and damage investigation period.
On August 12, 2019, the European Commission issued an announcement stating that in response to the European Steel Association ’s application on June 28, 2019 on behalf of the EU hot-rolled stainless steel coil producer, the European Commission Indonesia’s hot-rolled stainless steel coils are subject to anti-dumping investigations.
