Zhangjiagang Pohang Stainless Steel Co., Ltd. (PZSS) is a professional manufacturer of stainless steel. It is a Sino-Foreign Joint Venture jointly established by Jiangsu ShaGang Group (17.5% of shares) and POSCO (82.5% of shares), Korea.

Situated in the Economic Development Zone along the Yangtze River of Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu province, it is east of Shanghai, west of Nanjing, and southwards connecting with Suzhou and Wuxi. PZSS has access to convenient transportation.

In April 1997. the Cold-rolled Stainless Steel Work Phase 1 began and was completed and put into production on 22nd January, 1999. Occupying an area of 120.000 m’ and USD216 million investment, annual cold-rolled stainless steel sheet production capacity of Work Phase 1 is 140.000 tons.
