The epidemic of COVID-19 overseas has become increasingly serious. According to incomplete statistics, some steel and mining companies have or will temporarily suspend production:
1. Italian stainless steel manufacturer decided to suspend some production activities;
2. POSCO announced the closure of the Italian Wire Processing Center;
3. KryvyiRih company of ArcelorMittal in Ukraine has adopted epidemic prevention measures;
4. American Iron and Steel will temporarily shut down two domestic stainless steel pipe plants and the No. 4 blast furnace of the Gary Steel Plant
5. Amplang temporarily closed some European production lines;
6. Russian steel company NLMK suspended production at its Italian steel plant;
7. India’s Jindal SAW announced that it will temporarily close the Bhilwara plant.
