625 Alloy Pipe and Fittings Successfully Delivered

A key characteristic of 625 alloy is its excellent high-temperature strength and resistance to chloride-induced коррозионное растрескивание под напряжением, even at temperatures as high as 1093°C. The chromium and molybdenum content provides excellent resistance to chloride pitting, while the high nickel content enhances resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking.

625 is produced by processes such as vacuum induction melting or argon oxygen decarburization (AOD) and can be further refined by remelting with self-consuming electrodes. It is a highly formable material that is easier to weld than many other nickel-based alloys. Inconel 625 retains its resistance to intergranular corrosion even under welding conditions.
