Esta \u00e9 a principal raz\u00e3o pela qual certas quantidades desses elementos s\u00e3o frequentemente adicionadas aos a\u00e7os estruturais que requerem tenacidade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Al\u00e9m disso, os elementos de liga reduzem o teor de carbono eutet\u00f3ide e estabilizam a austenita super-resfriada, de forma que a quantidade de ferrita livre \u00e9 reduzida e a quantidade de perlita aumenta, o que produz naturalmente um certo efeito de fortalecimento. \u00c9 mais \u00f3bvio no estado de normaliza\u00e7\u00e3o. Isso ocorre porque o papel dos elementos de liga n\u00e3o \u00e9 f\u00e1cil de exercer totalmente neste estado, ent\u00e3o os a\u00e7os inoxid\u00e1veis duplex s\u00e3o quase sempre usados no estado
