Tem um bom desempenho abrangente e \u00e9 resistente a v\u00e1rios tipos de corros\u00e3o \u00e1cido-base e corros\u00e3o sob tens\u00e3o. A primeira aplica\u00e7\u00e3o foi a liga de n\u00edquel-cobre, tamb\u00e9m conhecida como liga Monel. A temperatura de recupera\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 de 70 \u2103 e o efeito de mem\u00f3ria de forma \u00e9 bom.
