Chaque \u00e9tape contribue \u00e0 l'effondrement final de la structure.<\/p><ul><li data-path-to-node=\"6,0,0\"><b>Apparition des fissures :<br \/><\/b>Les dommages microscopiques commencent aux points de concentration des contraintes. Les rayures superficielles, les angles vifs ou les d\u00e9fauts internes du mat\u00e9riau sont souvent \u00e0 l'origine de cette \u00e9tape. La d\u00e9formation plastique r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9e \u00e0 ces endroits forme une minuscule fissure visible.<\/li><li data-path-to-node=\"6,1,0\"><b>Propagation des fissures :<br \/><\/b>La fissure s'agrandit lentement \u00e0 chaque cycle de contrainte. La surface de fracture pr\u00e9sente souvent des marques caract\u00e9ristiques en forme de stries. Ces marques indiquent la direction et la vitesse de propagation de la fissure au fil du temps.<\/li><li data-path-to-node=\"6,2,0\"><b>Fracture finale :<br \/><\/b>Lorsque le mat\u00e9riau restant ne peut plus supporter la charge maximale, une rupture rapide se produit.
